GROCO 1-Inch Bronze Engine Flush Kit and Adaptor

The GROCO 1 in engine flush kit is the smallest size in this group, made for compatible 1 in seacocks on smaller inboards and generators. It adds a quarter-turn service port to the seacock. That port gives you one place to flush the cooling system, winterize, or pump the bilge in an emergency.

For flushing or winterizing, close the seacock, remove the quick-release plug, and connect the included service adaptor. Antifreeze or fresh water can then be drawn into the cooling circuit without taking the raw water plumbing apart. When you are done, the plug snaps back in and the normal flow path is restored.

In an emergency, the setup can let the running engine's raw water pump pull water from the bilge and send it overboard, as long as it is installed and used according to GROCO's instructions.
