The GROCO 2 in engine flush kit fits compatible 2 in seacocks on larger inboard engines. It adds a quarter-turn access port to the seacock for cooling system service. The bronze kit includes the service adaptor needed for winterizing.
Close the seacock, pull the quick-release plug, and attach the adaptor to bring in fresh water or antifreeze. When the work is done, the plug goes back in and the engine draws through the seacock as usual. That makes routine flushing a quick job instead of a plumbing project.
