The Gatco Edgemate Tungsten Carbide Knife Sharpener is a compact pull-through sharpener about 5.1 in long that weighs only 2 oz. Its carbide cutters are preset at 25 degrees, so there is no angle to guess. Draw the blade through the slot a few times and a dull edge comes back fast.

Gatco lists it for kitchen, hunting, fishing, electric, razor, utility and electrician's knives. That makes it handy in a kitchen drawer, tackle box, truck or toolbox. It is a quick way to bring back a working edge when you do not have time to set up stones.
