Description

The Flytanium Arcade Lite in Ocean Blue has a 3.25-inch AUS-10A drop point blade in DLC with a blue handle and the Shark Lock, closing to 4.5 inches. Made in Taiwan.

The Shark Lock is a crossbar mechanism licensed from Demko, a spring-loaded bar that snaps across the blade tang. It is ambidextrous and lets the knife be closed without fingers crossing the blade's path. AUS-10A is a Japanese stainless with more carbon than the common AUS-8, holding an edge noticeably longer while staying easy to sharpen and resistant to rust.

DLC is diamond-like carbon, a coating far harder than the steel beneath it, which resists scratching and cuts glare rather than simply coloring the blade. Explore more Folding Knives.

  • Shark Lock crossbar, ambidextrous and safe to close
  • AUS-10A holds an edge longer than AUS-8
  • DLC coating is harder than the steel beneath
  • 3.25-inch blade, 4.5 inches closed
