Fireboy-Xintex CO Alarm 12/24V DC - White

The Fireboy-Xintex CMD6-M Series CO Alarm in white is a 12/24V DC unit with a permanent lithium-metal backup battery, without interconnect.

No interconnect is the difference from the 91434, which is otherwise the same alarm. That suits a boat with one accommodation space, or a single alarm being added where linking to others is not part of the plan. Where two or more sleeping areas are partitioned off, the interconnect version is the one that protects all of them.

Running on boat power with a permanent internal backup means no batteries to replace, and the backup covers periods with the power switched off. The trade is that a circuit has to reach the mounting position, which on a headlining is not always straightforward.

The microprocessor sensor uses a Time Weighted Average process, calculating carboxyhemoglobin from CO concentration, temperature and time rather than a raw reading.
