Faria Beede Euro Black 4000 RPM Diesel Tachometer

The Faria Beede Euro Black 4000 RPM Diesel Tachometer is a 4 inch tachometer reading to 4000 RPM for diesel engines with magnetic pickup senders. Watching RPM helps you find the most efficient cruise speed and spot problems early. Euro Black series styling gives it a perimeter-lighted black dial with bold white graphics, a black aluminum bezel, a contoured white pointer and a flat glass lens.

An electronic tachometer counts pulses from the ignition system, alternator, a tach signal generator or a magnetic pickup sender. It connects to +12 volts, ground and one of those signal sources. A switch on the back tells the gauge how many pulses equal one engine revolution, so choosing the right setting is what makes the reading accurate.

It fits a 3.375 inch (85 mm) panel hole and runs on 12 volt negative ground systems, and it can be adapted for 24 volt systems. It works with magnetic pickup sensors only, reading 30 to 160 pulses or flywheel teeth. The factory part number is TD9671, and it is sold individually without a gauge cover.
