Description
The Faria Beede Chesapeake White 2-Inch Depth Sounder with Thru-Hull Transducer wraps a capable depth-finding instrument into Chesapeake's signature styling, a perimeter-lit dial with blue and white graphics behind a domed glass lens, framed in a polished stainless steel bezel.
This depth sounder reads from 3 to 199 feet (1 to 61 meters), switchable between feet and meters, and includes automatic gain control so readings stay accurate whether the bottom is soft mud or hard rock. An oversized, backlit display keeps depth readable in bright sun or total darkness, and keel offset lets you calibrate the reading to actual water depth below the keel rather than just below the transducer. Both audible and visual alarms fire when the boat crosses into a shallow or deep-water threshold you've set, giving real advance warning before running aground.
The kit ships with Faria's SN2060 transducer, a thru-hull mount unit with a 26-foot cable already attached. 2-inch gauge, 2.0625-inch mounting hole. Sold individually; gauge cover not included.
Worth comparing against our other marine gauges.
- 3-199 Ft (1-61m) depth range, readable in feet or meters
- Automatic gain control for consistent readings across bottom types
- Oversized, backlit display for full visibility day or night
- Keel offset adjustment
- Audible and visual shallow/deep water alarms
