Digital Yacht SPL2000 VHF AIS Powered Antenna Splitter

The Digital Yacht SPL2000 allows a single VHF antenna to serve both a VHF radio and an AIS unit simultaneously, avoiding the cost and complexity of running two separate antennas up the mast. It uses ZeroLoss technology, so neither the VHF nor the AIS side loses meaningful signal strength by sharing the one antenna. That's a genuine advantage over a basic splitter that sacrifices range on one side or the other.

It's suitable for AIS Class B transponder systems as well as standalone AIS receivers, covering the two most common AIS setups a boat owner would actually install. The SPL2000 is also a failsafe device, automatically giving priority to the connected VHF radio if both systems try to transmit at once. That priority makes sense since VHF communication takes precedence over AIS in a genuine emergency.

It ships with a BNC-BNC patch cable for the AIS side and a PL259-PL259 cable for the VHF side, so both connections are ready to go without sourcing separate cables. An AM/FM wired output is also built in for an onboard stereo receiver. The unit is identical in size to Digital Yacht's AIT2000, making it a natural companion piece for that transponder.
