Digital Yacht SPL1500 VHF/AIS Antenna Splitter

The Digital Yacht SPL1500 VHF/AIS Antenna Splitter lets one VHF antenna serve both your VHF/DSC radio and your AIS receiver or transponder. Without it, an AIS unit normally needs its own dedicated antenna, adding cost and clutter on the arch or mast. It makes adding AIS to a boat quick and simple.

Unlike most basic splitters, it works with Class B AIS transponders that transmit, not just receivers. Special circuitry manages the two transmitting devices so they share the antenna safely, and Digital Yacht's ZeroLoss technology keeps reception and transmission strong on both. It is fail safe, so if the splitter ever loses power or stops working, your main VHF radio keeps working normally.

The waterproof unit matches the size and look of Digital Yacht's AIT1500 transponder, and it runs on 12 V or 24 V with low power draw. Three LEDs show power and light up when the AIS or VHF transmits. A power cable, a PL-259 to PL-259 cable and a BNC to BNC cable are included, each 0.75 m long.
