Digital Yacht SPL1500 VHF/AIS Antenna Splitter

The Digital Yacht SPL1500 VHF/AIS Antenna Splitter lets a single existing VHF antenna serve both AIS and standard VHF/DSC use, solving the awkward problem where an AIS receiver or transponder technically needs its own dedicated antenna.

Unlike most basic splitters, this one is rated for use with Class B transponder systems, and it includes dedicated circuitry to keep both transmitting devices operating safely on the shared antenna. Three connections handle everything: one input from the main VHF antenna, and separate outputs feeding the AIS unit and the DSC VHF radio. Digital Yacht's ZeroLoss technology preserves reception and transmission quality across both devices, and the design is fail-safe, if the splitter ever loses power or stops functioning, primary VHF operation continues completely unaffected.
