The Digital Yacht Heliflex 15cm VHF/AIS Antenna (HA156) is a compact, 6-inch helical antenna specifically tuned to the 162MHz AIS frequency, delivering performance that matches antennas considerably larger despite its small size.

Its ultra-lightweight helical construction keeps windage low, a real consideration for a deck-level mount where a bulky antenna would otherwise catch wind and add drag. The included L bracket makes mounting to any vertical surface straightforward, and beyond a primary AIS antenna role, this unit also works well as an emergency backup VHF aerial if the main antenna ever fails.

6" height, includes L bracket and 66' cable with BNC connector for AIS transponders and receivers.
