Digital Yacht NS8 8-Port Gigabit Network Switch

The Digital Yacht NS8 is a rugged 8-port 10/100/1000 gigabit network switch for boats. It expands a wired Ethernet network when a router's ports run out. Wired connections stay the fastest and most reliable choice for streaming TV, VoIP, security cameras and other data-heavy uses.

Connect one port to a LAN socket on a router such as Digital Yacht's 4GConnect or 4GXtream, and the router keeps handing out IP addresses to devices plugged into the NS8. Yellow and green LEDs on each port show connection status. It wires directly to the boat's 12, 24 or 48 volt DC supply.

A dual redundancy power supply design adds reliability. The switch mounts on a standard 35 mm DIN rail, and a bracket with 100 mm of rail is included. Use the exact electrical ratings and connection points as the compatibility check rather than relying on housing size or product family alone. Browse more marine networking.
