The Condor K-Night has a 13.25-inch satin 1075HC steel blade with a full tang, a black micarta handle and a Kydex sheath. Made in El Salvador.

1075HC is a simple high-carbon steel with roughly 0.75 percent carbon, the classic machete composition. It is tough rather than hard, so it absorbs repeated impact without chipping and comes back to sharp with a file. Micarta on a machete is a step above the molded plastic that usually appears here. Layers of fabric with resin, it grips better as hands get sweaty and will not crack in cold the way plastic can.
