When an obstruction is encountered while running under 5 MPH in the forward direction, momentum causes the motor to deflect and rotate up to 45 degrees to slide over it, with a drawbar spring returning the motor to its normal position and holding it steady in reverse at low RPM. WARNING: The BA-130 is rated for a maximum of 130 HP and is not designed to protect against obstructions encountered at speeds over 5 MPH.
