Description

The CJRB Crag has a 3.75-inch satin cleaver blade, a carbon fiber handle, an extended tang, a thumb stud, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 4.75 inches.

A cleaver blade runs dead straight with no point at the front, which makes it excellent for cutting down onto a board or a surface and useless for piercing. That straight edge also means the whole length stays in contact through the cut, so it slices cardboard and cord in one pass rather than needing a sawing motion.

Carbon fiber is woven cloth set in resin and the lightest handle material in common use, stiffer than G10 at a fraction of the weight. Both the extended tang and the thumb stud open the blade, so the knife works the same whichever hand reaches for it. Explore more Modern EDC Linerlocks.
