C.E. Smith Swivel Cast Bottom Flush Mount Holder

The C.E. Smith Swivel Cast Bottom Flush Mount Holder is a 15 degree, 80 Series flush mount rod holder in 316 stainless steel. Its tube is 10-1/2 inches deep with a 1-7/8 inch inside diameter. 316 stainless steel is the marine grade that resists rust and pitting in saltwater far better than 304.

The swivel bottom lets the rod rotate to follow a fish without lifting it from the holder, which is a big advantage with bent-butt tackle on tuna and other large fish. A precision-machined 1/2 inch pivot turns smoothly under load. A keyed black vinyl liner protects the rod and stays aligned in the tube. A flush mount sits low on the gunwale, so it doesn't snag lines or clothing when the holder is empty.
