The C.E. Smith Cast Bottom 15-Degree Flush Mount Holder is made for keeping rods secure while trolling, running, or storing gear, using the construction and working features listed by the manufacturer for this model. These larger 70C series models feature a beautifully rounded cast bottom end with a 1/2 in tapered pipe threaded drain. Use them when the bottom of the rod holder must have a decorative appearance or add a drain tube and use it when there is dry storage space under the rod holder.
