C.E. Smith Cast Bottom 15-Degree Flush Mount Holder

The C.E. Smith Cast Bottom 15-Degree Flush Mount Holder is a 15 degree, 70 Series flush mount rod holder in 316 stainless steel. Its tube is 9 inches deep with a 1-5/8 inch inside diameter. A 15 degree angle tips the rod out slightly from vertical, a good middle ground for trolling while keeping rods close to the boat. 316 stainless steel is the marine grade that resists rust and pitting in saltwater far better than 304.

The rounded cast bottom has a 1/2 inch pipe-threaded drain, so you can run a drain tube or leave it finished where the underside shows. A tough stainless gimbal bar holds up to downriggers and heavy tackle. A keyed white vinyl liner protects the rod's finish and stays in place against the gimbal. A flush mount sits low on the gunwale, so it doesn't snag lines or clothing when the holder is empty.
