C.E. Smith Trailer Post Guide-Ons give you an easy visual cue for keeping the boat centered while backing, loading, or unloading, sidestepping the kind of damage an off-center load can cause. Where plastic guide-ons tend to crack under light impact, these run square 16-gauge steel uprights, pre-galvanized against corrosion, with 2-3/8-inch black PVC posts on top that stay tough year after year.

The brackets and metal uprights give you a full 19 inches of play on either side of the frame. The steel is galvanized before it's stamped, so the coating runs thin, about 0.45 oz per side, worth checking your state DOT for width restrictions before installing. Overall height runs 60 inches, sold in pairs.
