C.E. Smith 40" LED Lighted Post Guide-On Pair

The C.E. Smith Lighted Post Guide-Ons are a 40 inch pair on pre-galvanized steel with one-piece red and amber LED lamps.

Lighting the guide-ons does two jobs. On the ramp it shows where a submerged trailer actually is, and on the highway it makes the trailer far easier to see after dark. Amber faces forward and red faces aft, matching the convention every other road vehicle follows so the trailer reads correctly to other drivers.

One-piece lamps have no seams or separate lenses for water to enter, which is what fails on a light repeatedly dunked in a ramp. They are built to take shock as well, since a trailer light lives on a structure that flexes and vibrates continuously.
