Description
The Blue Sea Systems 7650003 Add-A-Battery Kit is a Dual Circuit Plus battery switch supplied with a 120A SI Automatic Charging Relay.
The Dual Circuit Plus switch turns the engine and house circuits on or off together while keeping the two banks electrically separate during discharge. That single action replaces the sequence of decisions a 1-2-Both selector demands, and it is those decisions that get made wrongly at the end of a long day.
When emergency starting support is needed the switch combines the banks temporarily so reserve capacity can assist the starter. That combining is deliberate and momentary rather than a position the boat can be left in by accident.
The 120A SI Automatic Charging Relay handles the charging side. It combines the banks when charging voltage is present and separates them when it stops. Together the two remove almost all the manual switching a two-battery system otherwise needs, and protect the starting battery from house loads without anyone remembering to do so. Explore more bus bars and power distribution.
- Switch and charging relay supplied as a matched pair
- One action replaces the 1-2-Both decision sequence
- Banks combine only momentarily for emergency starting
- 120A relay handles charging automatically
