Blue Sea 7649003 Mini Add-A-Battery Kit - Boxed

The Blue Sea Systems 7649003 is the boxed version of the Mini Add-A-Battery Kit, with an m-Series Dual Circuit Plus switch and a Mini Automatic Charging Relay.

Boxed is the distinction from the 7649, which is the same kit in different packaging. That matters to a dealer or anyone buying for resale rather than to the boat itself, since the hardware inside and the installation are identical.

During normal operation the switch keeps starting and house circuits separated so domestic loads do not drain the reserve needed for engine starting. If emergency assistance is required, the banks can be combined for additional cranking support rather than being permanently isolated.

The Mini ACR senses charging voltage, connects the banks when charging is available and separates them again when it stops. That removes most of the manual switching a traditional selector setup requires, and with it the chance of leaving the boat in the wrong position overnight.
