Description
The BEP Marine Pro Installer Class T fuse holder is intended for high-current DC systems where very fast fault interruption is important. Class T protection is commonly used around inverters, large battery banks, and other equipment capable of delivering extremely high short-circuit current. Two additional studs give the installer more options for terminating heavy conductors at the protected distribution point. The holder can therefore combine overcurrent protection and cable organization in one compact assembly.
Durable construction is designed to let the installed fuse operate at its intended load without excessive heat from the holder itself. Radiused ends provide a smoother path for large cables and reduce the need for tight bends near the terminals. The Class T format offers a very high interrupt capability, making it suitable for modern onboard power electronics and high-energy battery systems. The extra studs can also simplify installations where more than one heavy conductor must be landed near the primary protected feed. The Class T format is specified for fault interruption up to 20,000 amps.
- Class T format for high-energy battery and inverter systems
- Two additional studs expand cable-termination options
- Radiused ends improve routing of large conductors
- Designed for fast response to severe short-circuit faults
Choose the fuse size to protect the conductor and connected equipment, not merely to match the holder range. Install the holder near the source of power and protect exposed terminals from accidental contact. For compatible replacement parts and related equipment, browse more Bus Bars & Power Distribution.
