The Balmar 100A Spindle Mount Alternator Kit includes a 621-100-K6 alternator with a six-groove serpentine pulley, plus regulation and sensors.

K6 against J10 is the groove count, and the belt already on the engine decides which is right. Six grooves against ten is not a preference: a ten-groove belt will not sit on a six-groove pulley, and counting the ribs on the current belt takes a moment.

The 1-inch spindle mount suits Westerbeke, Lehman, Hino and Pathfinder engines, and the 2-inch Delco-style covers a wider group. Both are single-foot arrangements, distinct from the dual-foot saddle mounts covered by the other Balmar kits.

Isolated grounding keeps the charging return in its own cable rather than through the engine block. The kit includes the alternator, external regulation, temperature sensors and hardware as a coordinated package. Explore more marine alternators.
