The Andre Verdier DYNAMIT Tomato Knife has a 4.5-inch satin serrated stainless blade at 8.5 inches overall, a black ABS handle and a lanyard hole. Made in France.

A tomato knife is a specific tool. The serrations break through skin that a plain edge slides off, and the blade is ground thin so the slice underneath stays intact rather than crushing. Serrations also stay usable far longer than a plain edge on soft skins, since the teeth do the work and the edge between them wears slowly.
