Airmar B60 Bronze Thru-Hull, 12-Degree Tilt Element

The Airmar B60 is a 600 watt, 50/200 kHz bronze thru-hull transducer with a 12 degree Tilted Element. The ceramic element is fixed at an angle inside the housing to correct for hull deadrise. When the transducer sits nearly flush with the hull, the beam still points straight down for maximum echo returns and accurate depth.

At 50 kHz the beam is 45 degrees wide with depth performance to 1,200 feet, and at 200 kHz it narrows to 12 degrees with depth to 700 feet. It also measures depth and water temperature with a fast-response sensor. The low-profile housing extends only 3/16 inch outside the hull and has no effect on running performance. The housing has a urethane acoustic window and weighs about 3 lb.

It suits center consoles and trailered boats up to 26 feet with up to 24 degrees of deadrise. The bronze housing is for fiberglass or wood hulls and needs a 2-3/8 inch hole, with 2.70 inches of usable shaft length.
