Airmar B175HW Bronze 12-Degree 1kW Thru-Hull Transducer

The Airmar B175HW is a bronze thru-hull CHIRP transducer from Airmar's wide beam line, with a 12 degree tilted element and a 1 kW rating. It sweeps from 150 to 250 kHz, giving 100 kHz of bandwidth from one transducer. That range includes the popular 200 kHz fishing frequency.

What sets the wide beam line apart is a constant 25 degree beam width across the whole frequency band. Airmar says that gives twice the coverage under the boat of its standard high-frequency CHIRP transducers. It also shows fish in the upper water column that narrow beams can miss and produces larger, crisper returns on screen.

It includes a depth sensor and a fast-response water temperature sensor, plus Airmar's Xducer ID technology. The bronze housing is for fiberglass or wood hulls on boats 25 feet and longer.
