The Airmar B117 50/200kHz 600W Bronze Thru-Hull Transducer is Airmar's entry-level offering in this class, running a single dual-frequency ceramic element in a bronze housing so low-profile it extends barely 3/16 in outside the hull, minimizing drag on the water.
A right-angle cable exit is a practical touch, it saves mounting space and protects the connection if the transducer ever gets stepped on inside the hull. An included rubber washer lets the hull nut seat properly even against an irregular hull surface, and dual-frequency operation covers a wide 50 kHz beam reaching 1200 ft alongside a tighter 200 kHz beam reaching 700 ft.
