ACR SR303 Survival VHF Radio with Charging Kit

The ACR SR303 is a GMDSS survival VHF radio certified to IMO and SOLAS regulations, built to cover both a genuine emergency and everyday routine communication from the same unit rather than forcing a choice between the two. This kit version adds the accessories needed to run the radio day to day rather than keeping it sealed for emergency use alone.

It ships with the same primary lithium battery and tamper witness label as the standalone GMDSS Emergency VHF, plus a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, a charging base, and a mains-to-12V supply plug. That combination lets the radio run on the rechargeable pack for routine use, while the sealed primary battery stays untouched and ready for when an actual emergency calls for it.

The controls are built to be worked with survival suit gloves on, and both the display and keypad are backlit for low-light operation. NFC lets a phone check the battery's replacement date and pull product information without opening the radio up, and an IPX7 waterproof rating along with a -20°C to 55°C operating range keeps it functional through the kind of conditions a real survival situation creates. A flexible rubber antenna, belt clip, and wrist lanyard come standard.
