Description
The Xantrex Heart Echo Charge Charging Panel is designed to charge auxiliary or starting batteries from an inverter/charger or other charging source with limited voltage drop. It is designed for boaters who want convenient dual battery bank charging without manually managing the charge current.
This panel detects when the house battery bank is being charged and directs a portion of the charge current to auxiliary or starting batteries, up to a maximum of 15 amps. It automatically adjusts for 12 or 24 volt battery banks (both banks must share the same voltage and battery type), switching on and off automatically without affecting the house bank or causing overcharge, with built-in thermal, over-current, and reverse polarity protection via simple 3-wire installation. Browse more options in our battery chargers category.
Key Features
- 15A max charge current suits moderate dual-battery charging needs.
- Automatic on/off operation means no manual switching required.
- Thermal, over-current, and reverse polarity protection guard against installation mistakes and faults.
- 3-wire install keeps the wiring straightforward.
