Xantrex Automatic Generator Start for SW2012 SW3012

The Xantrex Automatic Generator Start adds generator control to Xanbus inverter charger systems, triggered by voltage, state of charge, thermostat or load.

Four separate triggers is what makes automatic starting practical rather than crude. Low battery voltage, low state of charge, thermostat demand and inverter load each cover a different situation, and a boat left unattended benefits from all of them being available rather than voltage alone.

A programmable quiet time prevents the generator starting at hours when it would be unwelcome. That matters in a marina or an anchorage, where an automatic start at three in the morning is a problem regardless of how low the batteries are.
