Wichard Lyf'Safe Jackline Kit 8.5 Meter 27 Foot

The Wichard Lyf'Safe Jackline Kit is an 8.5-meter, 27-foot kit with an adjuster, reflective stripe and photoluminescent casings.

Twenty-seven feet is the shorter kit, against the 46-foot version, and the run should be measured before choosing. A jackline needs to reach from a cockpit anchor point to the bow, and on most boats under about 35 feet this length covers it with the adjuster taking up the remainder.

It fits onto existing deck fastenings rather than needing dedicated hardware installed first. Padeyes, pulpit, pushpit and cleats all work as anchor points, which is what makes the kit fittable on a boat that was never set up for jacklines.

The adjuster removes slack, and a locking system built into its casing prevents accidental release. A reflective stripe and photoluminescent casings make the line findable at night, which is when someone is most likely to be clipping on without a free hand for a torch.
