Whitecap 9-3/8 x 18 in Teak Louvered Vent Insert

This Whitecap teak louvered insert offers a wider, low-profile format for an interior panel or locker front. Its slatted face gives the opening a finished teak appearance. The insert is designed around a rabbeted edge rather than a plain flush panel.

The outside dimensions are 9-3/8 in high, 18 in wide, and 3/4 in deep. Whitecap specifies an 8-3/8 x 17 in cutout. The 1/2 in rabbet accounts for the difference between the outside size and the opening. The cutout is one inch smaller than the overall face in each direction.

Measure the panel before cutting, especially if it has existing framing or hinges nearby. A louvered insert can suit a cabin furniture project where a solid blank panel is not desired.
