Whale Dual-Sensor Grey Waste Tank Replacement Lid

This replacement tank lid restores the sensor-controlled operation of a compatible Whale grey-water tank. It has two integrated sensors rather than the single-sensor arrangement used on some tanks. The primary sensor starts the connected waste pump when collected water reaches its operating level.

As the tank empties, the controller switches the pump off automatically. The second sensor can call for an additional pump at a higher water level or provide a high-level alarm signal. That gives the tank system a way to respond to unusually heavy incoming shower drainage. The second sensing point can therefore distinguish normal tank emptying from unusually high incoming flow.

The intelligent control is intended for 12V or 24V DC operation and Whale recommends Gulper 220 or Gulper 320 grey-water pumps. Pump current must stay within the stated sensor control limits, with a maximum of 20A specified.
