Whale 8L Grey Waste Tank with Level Sensor

The Whale 8-liter grey-water tank collects shower and similar wastewater before it is pumped overboard through the boat's drainage system. Its integrated single sensor can operate a compatible pump automatically as the water level changes. The compact 2.1-gallon capacity is suited to installations where a larger tank may not fit.

A triple-seal lid separates the electronics from the wet interior of the tank. The built-in solid-state control supports a 12V or 24V DC pump system with current up to 20A, according to Whale's specification. One sensor is included with this version, so it does not provide the additional sensor functions available on dual-sensor tanks. The tank body is molded from MDPE, and Whale specifies different materials for the seals and sensor lid.

The tank has multiple possible inlet and outlet hose positions that must be opened as required during installation. Its molded body uses MDPE, with separate sealing and lid materials chosen for the waste-water environment. Before fitting, plan the hose route and leave clearance for inspecting or servicing the lid.
