Weaver traces its roots to William R. Weaver, who started building rifle scopes in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, around 1930 with the goal of making quality optics that everyday hunters could afford. His first scope, the Model 3-30, sold for $19 with a mount, and in 1933 the shop moved to El Paso, Texas. Weaver went on to supply scopes to the U.S. military in World War II and became one of the best-known names in American sporting optics. CritPro carries a growing selection of genuine Weaver scope rings, bases, and mounts for rifles, shotguns, and pistols.
Weaver is especially well known for its mounting systems, and the Weaver style of mounting is so widely used that it became an industry standard. The lineup includes Grand Slam rings, Lever Lok rings, See Through rings, Precision rings, and Quad Lock rings in 1 inch, 30mm, and 34mm tube sizes. Weaver also offers one-piece and two-piece scope bases, .22 tip-off bases, muzzleloader bases, pistol bases, and AR-style mounts, along with gunsmithing tools and accessories that make installation easier.
Whether you are mounting a new hunting scope, setting up a red dot on a pistol, or replacing worn rings on a trusted rifle, Weaver gives you hardware that holds zero and fits a wide range of firearms. Matching the right base, ring height, and tube diameter to your optic is the key to a solid, repeatable setup, and Weaver's range makes that straightforward. From classic steel rings to modern quick-detach options, the brand offers dependable mounting solutions for hunters, target shooters, and everyday range users alike.
