Weaver 1 in Medium Matte Extension Scope Rings

The Weaver 49091 combines a 1 in tube size with a medium height and an extension Top Mount design. A matte finish covers the hardware, and the 49091 is packaged as one ring. The extension format gives the ring more placement flexibility while keeping the optic lower than Weaver’s high extension options.

Medium height can be useful when a standard low setup is too tight but a high ring would lift the scope more than needed. The extension body addresses ring-spacing or eye-relief limitations by moving the clamping position relative to the base attachment. Tube diameter remains fixed at 1 in, so the ring is not interchangeable with 30 mm models.

The 49091 is a good middle-ground extension ring for a 1 in optic. It can be compared directly with the high 49045 when deciding whether placement flexibility is needed at a medium or taller height. For other choices to compare with Weaver 49091, browse optics and rangefinders.
