Weaver Remington 700 SA 20 MOA Multi-Slot Scope Base

The Weaver 99504 extended multi-slot base combines Remington 700 short-action compatibility with a 20 MOA angle. It uses a matte black finish and provides a longer slotted surface for ring placement. This makes it a different type of Remington 700 SA base from the gloss one-piece Weaver #97 base we also carry.

The 20 MOA angle is the specification that should drive the choice between this base and a level alternative. Receiver fit comes first, since the mount still has to match the Remington 700 short-action pattern before the built-in angle can serve any purpose. The extended rail then allows the ring spacing to be adjusted around the scope body.

This base is intended for buyers who know they want a canted Remington 700 SA mounting surface rather than a traditional flat base. Comparing it directly with the #97 highlights the differences in finish, rail style, and built-in angle. For other choices to compare with Weaver 99504, browse optics and rangefinders.
