The Walther CFK has a 2.5-inch stonewashed 440C stainless chisel ground blade with a partially serrated edge, a finger grooved stainless handle, a thumb pull and a pocket clip, closing to 3.25 inches on a frame lock.
A chisel grind is flat on one face and beveled on the other, like a woodworking chisel. It puts the whole bevel angle on one side, which makes the edge easier to sharpen and gives a very acute cutting angle. The trade is that it steers in the cut, pulling toward the flat side, so it suits controlled work more than free slicing.
440C was the benchmark stainless in production knives for decades, with high chromium for corrosion resistance and enough carbon to take a fine edge. Finger grooves machined into the stainless handle give the hand fixed positions where a bare metal frame would turn slick. Explore more Framelock Knives.
