The Viper Storm has a 3-inch satin stainless drop point blade, a black G10 handle, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 4.5 inches on a liner lock. Made in Italy.

Viper builds in Maniago, the northern Italian cutlery town where knives have been made since the 1400s, and Italian production at this size is uncommon in a category dominated by Chinese and Taiwanese manufacture. The drop point sits the tip below the spine line for control, with a long belly behind it for slicing, and it is the most broadly useful blade shape made.
