The Victron Skylla-IP65 24V 35A 1+1 is a seven-stage adaptive charger with a main and auxiliary output, accepting 120-240V AC, rated IP65.

IP65 is what separates the Skylla from the IP43 Phoenix Smart range. It resists dust and water jets rather than needing a protected position, so it can go where a boat actually has room. That usually means an engine space or a cockpit locker, which are the two places a protected-only charger cannot live.

Seven adaptive stages cover a wider chemistry range than most marine chargers, including a dedicated lithium-ion program rather than an approximation of one. Charging lithium on a lead-acid profile damages the cells, so a proper program matters rather than being a marketing distinction.

The 1+1 layout sends most of the 35 amps to the service bank while a smaller auxiliary output keeps the starter battery topped up from the same charger.
