Victron Blue Smart IP65 24V 5-Amp Battery Charger

The Victron Blue Smart IP65 is a 24V 5A UL-approved charger with a NEMA 1-15P input plug and a seven-step algorithm.

Twenty-four volts at 5 amps is the smallest charger in the Blue Smart range, and system voltage is the first thing to confirm. A 12V charger will not charge a 24V bank at all, and the housings look identical across the range. The label is the only thing that distinguishes them.

The NEMA 1-15P input plug connects to a standard North American outlet without an adapter, and UL approval covers it for installations that need it. Five amps at 24 volts suits maintenance and small bank charging rather than returning a discharged house bank.

The seven-step algorithm recharges efficiently and maintains condition for longer service life, with recovery of a deeply discharged battery using a low current until voltage rises.
