Uniden HomePatrol-2 Touchscreen Digital Scanner

The Uniden HomePatrol-2 Touchscreen Digital Scanner lets you listen to police, fire, ambulance, aircraft, military, weather and other public safety radio traffic. It is one of the most popular digital police scanners on the market. You set it up by entering your zip code on the color touchscreen, or by connecting an optional GPS receiver.

The built-in HomePatrol database covers radio channel information for the US and Canada from RadioReference.com. It receives all unencrypted, non-proprietary systems, including APCO-25 Phase I and Phase II digital, Motorola, EDACS, LTR, conventional analog and P25 digital channels. The touchscreen shows a list of radio services, and you tap the ones you want to hear.

The included Sentinel software manages favorites lists, database updates and firmware updates from your computer. The box includes a USB cable, a microSD memory card, four rechargeable NiMH batteries and a desk bracket. It works at home, in a vehicle or on a boat to keep you informed about what is happening nearby. Handheld and mobile scanners are in our marine scanners section.
