A standard 3/4 inch tapered shaft supports approximately 4.2 lock-to-lock steering wheel turns, with a maximum steering wheel diameter of 16 inches (406mm). This helm is also available packaged with FOURTECH-ZTF, exceeding both EN 28848 and ABYC P17 safety standards — note the bezel must be ordered separately, and this system should not be used on boats exceeding the engine's max rated horsepower.
