Uflex T-Fitting Assembly for ORF Hose Connection

The Uflex T-Fitting Assembly for ORF Hose replaces the boss fittings on an outboard steering cylinder so it can use O-ring face seal (ORF) hoses. It converts an ORB #6 port to a 3/8-inch compression connection. The cylinder side is threaded 9/16-18 UNF and the hose side 9/16-24 UNEF.

ORF fittings seal on a rubber O-ring rather than metal threads, which makes them more resistant to leaks under the vibration and pressure of hydraulic steering. Converting an older cylinder to ORF hoses can also make future hose replacements easier. The threads are precision machined for a secure, leak-resistant seal. Many newer Uflex hose kits use ORF connections, so this fitting helps older cylinders work with current hoses. It also gives a clean, leak-resistant connection at the cylinder where vibration is highest.
