Description

The Trident Bilge Hose is a 1.5 inch white corrugated polyethylene hose in 50 foot lengths, cuffed every foot for clamping, rated from -40 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Being cuffed every foot is the practical feature. A corrugated hose is difficult to clamp because the ridges leave gaps, and a smooth cuff at one foot intervals gives a proper sealing surface wherever it needs cutting. That means the hose can be cut to length without planning where the fittings will land.

Trident notes this is not recommended for below waterline use, which is an important restriction. Below the waterline a failed hose floods the boat rather than spilling into the bilge. It resists oily bilge water and seawater, and the wide temperature range covers a bilge that freezes in winter and bakes in summer. Explore more marine water and bilge hose.

  • Cuffed every foot, so it clamps wherever it is cut
  • Corrugated hose otherwise leaves gaps under a clamp
  • Not recommended for below waterline use
  • 1.5 inch, resisting oily bilge water and seawater
