Tecnoseal Aluminum Anode Kit - Mercury Alpha 1 Gen 2

The Tecnoseal aluminum sacrificial anode product is built to help protect compatible underwater metal components from galvanic corrosion. Sacrificial anodes corrode preferentially so more valuable drive, hull, and underwater hardware is less likely to become the primary metal consumed by electrochemical activity.

This version uses aluminum alloy and is identified for Mercury Alpha 1 Gen 2. Correct anode material and fitment matter because protection depends on electrical contact with the metal being protected, adequate exposed anode surface, and an alloy suited to the vessel’s operating water and installed metals.

Inspect sacrificial anodes regularly and replace them before they are heavily depleted. Mounting surfaces should provide clean metal-to-metal electrical contact, and anodes should not be painted or coated over.
