Tecnoseal Magnesium Anode Kit - Mercury Alpha 1 Gen 2

The Tecnoseal magnesium sacrificial anode product is built to help protect compatible underwater metal components from galvanic corrosion. Sacrificial anodes corrode preferentially so more valuable drive, hull, and underwater hardware is less likely to become the primary metal consumed by electrochemical activity.

This version uses magnesium alloy and is identified for Mercury Alpha 1 Gen 2. Correct anode material and fitment matter because protection depends on electrical contact with the metal being protected, adequate exposed anode surface, and an alloy suited to the vessel’s operating water and installed metals.
