Description

The TB Outdoor CAC S200 has a 3.38-inch black finish Nitrox steel blade with a partially serrated edge, a black sculpted PA6 handle, a belt and cord cutter, a glass breaker, a lanyard hole, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 5.75 inches.

This is the French army's issued folder, and the feature list reflects that. The belt and cord cutter is a hooked blade separate from the main edge, and the glass breaker is a hardened point at the butt for tempered auto glass. Nitrox is a French nitrogen-alloyed stainless, and the nitrogen forms hard nitrides that raise corrosion resistance well above ordinary stainless.

PA6 is a nylon polymer, sculpted here rather than left flat so the hand locates itself the same way each time. The serrated section handles rope and webbing, where the teeth catch material a plain edge slides off. Explore more Folding Knives.

  • Issued folder of the French army
  • Separate belt and cord cutter plus a glass breaker
  • Nitrox nitrogen-alloyed steel resists corrosion
  • 3.38-inch blade, 5.75 inches closed
