The Surefire X300 Turbo gives 650 lumens at 66,000 candela in a tan matte finish, with a thumbscrew attachment for Picatinny and universal rails.
Candela is the number that matters on this light, not lumens. Sixty-six thousand candela is an exceptionally tight beam, and it reaches far further than the 1,000 lumen X300 Ultra despite the lower lumen figure. Lumens measure total light produced and candela measure how much goes in one direction. For identifying something at distance, the second is the useful figure.
A thumbscrew attachment is the B version, tightened by hand onto the rail. It holds firmly and costs less than the lever latch, at the price of being slower to move between firearms.
