Surefire DS-SR07 Tan Waterproof Scout Light Switch

The Surefire DS-SR07 is a waterproof switch assembly for Scout lights in tan, with a 7 inch tape switch included.

The SR07 is the rail-mounted tape switch, which fastens directly to a Picatinny section rather than sticking to the handguard with adhesive. That is the difference that matters over time. Adhesive pads shift and eventually peel, and a rail-clamped pad stays exactly where it was set.

It is not compatible with the Micro Scout Light Pro, which uses a different tail assembly, so the light model needs confirming before ordering. Tan matches sand-colored handguards and the tan Scout bodies, and the assembly is waterproof rather than merely water resistant, which is the rating that matters on a component sitting in weather.
