The Surefire M340DFT Pro is a 500 lumen Scout light in tan anodized finish, running on an 18350 cell with a Z68 tailcap and an M-LOK adapter included.
DFT stands for Dual Fuel Turbo, and the Turbo part is a reflector tuned to throw rather than flood. Five hundred lumens through a tight beam reaches considerably further than the same output spread wide. For identifying something at distance rather than lighting a room, throw matters more than raw lumens.
The 18350 is a short rechargeable cell, which keeps this the compact Scout rather than the full-length 18650 version. Dual fuel means it also runs CR123A cells, so the light works on shop-bought batteries when a charged cell is not to hand. Explore more weapon lights.
